I cannot believe its New Years Eve, this year has flown by. It's been a great year, I feel so blessed to have good health, and an amazing loving family. I'm so grateful for so many other things but I don't want to bore you. I cant' even wait for 2015 because we are building our dream home, its going to be absolutely amazing and I'm constantly on Pinterest looking for ideas to decorate it. I hope everyone has a very safe and fun New Years Eve. Onto today's outfit, I love wearing basic colors and adding a little pop of color or leopard of course. Whether it be with a scarf, a beanie, or my shoes. I really like the focus to be on the pop of color, so I keep the rest of my outfit pretty basic with neutral colors. I got this scarf at H&M for like $5 on sale, I love when I find fabulous little gems like this for crazy good deals! This sweater is also one of my favorite sweaters, I found this at Target last year and I still love it and wear it all the time. I swear Target has the best clothes sometimes. Its really bad every time I go grocery shopping, I always seem to wander over to the clothing section and I end up leaving with more than just the food I went in for.
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. The holidays are the absolute best, being able to spend time with our loved ones. This Christmas was so much fun watching my kiddos play with their new toys, I think Christmas is more fun now then when I was little, I literally could not sleep on Christmas Eve because I was so anxious for my babies to open their presents. Onto todays outfit, I'm absolutely obsessed with this coat. The bottom of the sleeves are just like gloves. I wish this coat was still available so everyone could get it because I'm so in love with it. I am absolutely still in love with these booties, I have worn them a few times now and they are so comfortable. They run true to size and the quality is above and beyond. I highly recommend these shoes, they go with everything from skirts, skinnies, flares you can wear them with everything. I hope you have a great start to your week, and thanks so much for reading.
I love the Sunday before Christmas, all the singing gets me in the holiday spirit. Don't mind my wrinkly skirt I took these pictures after church, so my little babes had been sitting on my lap. I gotta say I'm obsessed with these high waisted skirts from Express. I have 3 of them and I want more. Its comfortable, cute and I just feel so girly when I wear it. It runs true to size. I also want to get this lace shirt in more colors, its stretchy so you can move around in it comfortably. It also runs true to size, for reference I'm wearing a size small and I'm about 5'6. I have an undershirt on because the top is a see through lace. I hope everyone has a great start to their week and is done with their Christmas shopping. Thanks for stopping by.
I have an Ugly Sweater party this week, so I wanted to share some of my favorites I have found while trying to find the perfect one. My favorite website for these fabulously ugly sweaters is Tipsyelves.com they have so many funny sweaters. This has to be one of the weirdest traditions, but its growing on me. Normally I'm stressing about finding the most fabulous outfit to wear, but now I have been on the hunt for the ugliest sweater I can find. What do you guys think about the ugly sweater parties? Do you love them, or hate them?
I have decided you can never have too many basics in your closet, I literally have tons of white and black tops and still find myself looking for more. I feel like with a great basic top you can pair it with anything on bottom and you'll look great. Then you can dress it up if you need to with your accessories. I'm so in love with this skirt and booties that I just kept this look really simple. I just have to tell you how excited I am about these shoes! I got them from Duck & Dressing on Cyber Monday for 75% off. Yes you read that right 75% off I couldn't believe they gave such an amazing discount. I'm really hoping they do this every year because I will save up just for that sale. If you haven't checked out their website you need to they have the cutest stuff.
My precious niece was blessed this past week and this is what I wore. I love any chance I get to dress up. What girl doesn't love to dress up every now and then. I feel like most of the time I'm in mom mode and dress strictly for comfort so I can chase my little ones around. I love going to church for many reasons but one of them has to be that I love to get all dolled up. Not only is this skirt fancy but its insanely comfortable and I love the way it hugs my curves, Express has the best skirts lately. I'm seriously obsessed. Thanks for stopping by I hope everyone has a great weekend.
I'm obsessed with elbow patches! Whenever I see something sweaters, cardigans, tees anything with elbow patches I have to have it. Doesn't matter the color, texture anything I just love elbow patches, its a huge selling point for me. I've had this sweater for a couple of years and it still gets tons of wear because I'm so in love with the blue elbow patches. You might notice in the pictures below my hair looks a little longer, I'm wearing my Bellami clip in extensions. If you haven't heard of them before they are my favorite out of all the clip-ins I have tried. The hair is amazing quality and the customer service was awesome to work with to help me match them to my hair.
I'm obsessed with beanies right now, and this is such a fun beanie that gives that funky edge to a simple outfit, I need to get more colors. Oh my goodness these black wedges.....I have been wanting them for like a year and I finally decided to pull the trigger and order them because I haven't stopped thinking about them in over a year. I got them in brown too, they are my new favorite thing! Not to mention they are so comfy and warm they have fur inside them which I absolutely love. They are perfect for winter. I'm serious, I could wear them all day and be just fine and that is a huge deal for me!
I don't usually wear a lot of color (I love my black and grey haha) but I do love mixing textures. This sweater mixed with the button up turned out really cute together. I have had a lot of fun getting dressed this fall, I love layering different pieces together to stay warm. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
I have to have a few coats to get me through the fall and winter. I like to change it up depending on my mood, or if I need to be more dressed up or its a casual day. I fee like everyone needs a classic neutral colored coat that can go with just about anything. Another must have for me is a leather jacket. I also have a couple fun and funky patterned coats for those days when I want to stand out a little more. You guys might think I'm weird for having more than one winter coat, but I seriously get bored and need options. I wanted to share some of my favorite choices that I have been eyeing lately. Click the number of the coat you like and it will take you right to it.
I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving, I loved seeing family that I hadn't seen in quite some time. It's always fun catching up. I also had an absolute blast black Friday shopping. I literally shopped till I dropped. I got so many great deals. Black Friday has to be one of my favorite days of the year. Today's outfit I'm wearing my fave camo pants. Camo never gets old. For me its one of those must have pattern pieces. If you haven't added any camo to your wardrobe I really suggest it.
I'm so excited we finally got to design our new house yesterday, but by the time we went to snap a few pics it was already dark, hence the bad lighting. I love this time of year for the holidays and all the family time, but I hate how it gets dark so early.
